We did not like the house. We looked at 2 this time. One house was almost perfect had it been located in a different spot. You could see and hear the highway. We live on a state highway now and worry about the kids so that was a definite no. The other house just didn't inspire me at all. As you know I love to cook so a large kitchen is something I'm looking for and that just wasn't it. I thought it was a little small. The barns were made for horses which we don't have and they would need to be replaced. My DH wants a workshop where he can work on cars and have room to store lawnmower, bike etc. He would have to completely burn them down and get rid of them altogether. It's hard not to get discouraged but we still have some time so I'm trying to keep my chin up.

Hope your 4th was wonderful, we all remembered those her serve in our blessings! What a joy to live in this great country.

Sounds like you had a fun 4th in spite of the rain. Looks like the kids were enjoying themselves too.
ReplyDeleteCarey don't give up on your house hunt. You will find the perfect one in time. I know it is discouraging right now but it will happen!
Blessings,
AMY
Can I adopt your Aunt? What a doll she is!
ReplyDeleteOh Aunt Princess is a gem! I hope I look half as good when I am her age. What a treasure to have her in your fold!
ReplyDeleteI was so happy to see someone else uses crows and sunflowers in the transition time. I too keep them up until fall.
Thanks so much for stopping by!
