Check out the recipe here. She makes the neatest desserts. Plus I can't help but love the fact that she bakes and does Pilates like me! Hee..hee a gal's gotta find something to work it off.
Please note* I used carmel icecream topping because I didn't have any carmels. I added about 2 spoonfuls of it to the batter. Then I substituted walnuts instead of hazelnuts because that's what I had on hand. I'm sure either one would be good.
We leave for IL tomorrow, I'm so excited to see my hubby. I'm so proud of him. It's finally retirement day! I'll be taking a little blogging break but I will post some pictures next week of his ceremony or at least what I can get away with. LOL!
Have a great day!
Carey
Girl your killing me... I'll save this one for April. :O)
ReplyDeleteSo exciting for your family... enjoy!
We're definitely a house full of banana bread fans but never had a caramel icing so we're gonna have to try that!
ReplyDeleteHave a safe trip to IL and congratulations to hubby on his retirement.
Sounds delicious minus the nuts.
ReplyDeleteHow wonderful for your hubby on his retirement. Wishing him lots of luck and I hope he finds lots to do to keep himself busy.
