Recently I began looking around my home at the signs, I just can't help but not to pick up one when I'm shopping. I'm not sure what draws me in...is it the words, the meaning, or style? I think I've always liked print because I like to read and it must be the teacher in me.
Some I've had for awhile...thinking about painting this one?
This is my newest one, love what it says.
We shouldn't forget the past. We can learn so much.
Family is so important.
I have a soft spot for these stitching's too. This one says, "Grow old with me in our home the best is yet to be."
This was a birthday present from my Mother -in- Law.
She knows just what I like, I love her so much.
Fall is in the air...
Then last but not least one that shows the pride I feel for our Country.
Do you have a love of signs or some other collections? I'd love to hear about it.
Have a great day!
Carey
I have loads of collections: dolls, plates from foreign cities from our travels abroad, books, purses, shoes, clothing, jewelry, steins, glassware, souvineers, teapots, china, Christmas plates, glass insulators from the 50's, china figurines, embroideries, English miniature cottages, Hummels, Home Interiors stuff, Tupperware, candles, stuffed animals, you name it, but no signs!
ReplyDeleteLove all these! I really like signs too, but I don't have that many ~ YET!! LOL! I have started trying to make a few but am not that good at it. But I will keep plugging along! Hope you have a great weekend!

Love your signs. I have a couple too. I just like the country look of them.
ReplyDeleteI do, and I have several. For me, it's the words. I pick signs that say what my heart is feeling.
ReplyDeleteI totally agree with you on how signs grab your attention. I do alot with the vinyl wording on my walls, its a way of expressing yourself and I think its nice when walking through the house a person reads them and it say alot about your home. Thanks for sharing!
