Easter Blessings and more on vacation...

Happy Easter, hope you had a great weekend.  We had a busy weekend.  I hosted a Easter brunch for my husband's parents Saturday.  We attended church services, went to my Aunt's open house for her birthday, she turns 90 later this month! Then we came home and hunted for eggs.

My kiddos in their Easter finest. This is a delicious strawberry cake that I made from our brunch, I'll share more on that later, it's very easy.

I promised some more vacation pictures so here are some more.  Later this week I will share our media room project.  We're done with that now.  It looks really nice and works great for us too.

These were some of the bath houses when they were popular at the turn of the 19th century.  They competed with one another for business and have the most luxious architecture and interior designs to draw people in.  They spared no expense they were inspired by the Romans and everything was marble and stained glass, all state of the art for the day.  The native americans believed the springs have healing powers and told the settlers about them and after the train people began to travel to Hot Springs.

My son catches a fish.

My daughter got a Bass too.

This little gardening bag was on our guest bed.  My friend got it for us and it made us feel so welcome.  I love the idea of putting a little guest basket together for people when they come to your house.  It was filled with seeds, notecards, easter towels and a garden tile.  I plan on putting it in my garden so I can be reminded of our friendship.  We had a great trip and I feel so blessed to have good friends.

Have a great Monday,

Carey
