Snow Day and a little Creativity

My kids finally got their snow day on Friday.  They were so excited! I thought I would share some pictures of the snow we got and how pretty it looked.  My daughter has been bugging me to share some of her hobbies with you and she loves Webkinz.  She has been collecting them for a little over a year and she has quite a few.  My son collects them too.  They don't just play with them on the computer, we have weddings and parties for them.  She makes videos and sets up all the props, stage etc.  I'm not sure what she will be when she grows up but she sure loves creating and making things.  I try to encourage her all that I can, I think that this is just an important part of being a parent.  When you think about it your kids they are the most important accomplishment that you can have in your life.  It's not about how much money you make or how successful your career is but the life long love from your child that matters most.

So here's some pictures, bear with me and gather your kiddos around the computer they might enjoy them too! My daughter took all these pictures too.

I didn't know she put them in the snow, I told her not to do this!

Have a wonderful day!

Blessings for you and your family,

Carey

  1. Cute.. I agree.. support their creativity. My daughter showed a "little" interest in guitar about 5 years ago. We bought her a very inexpensive acoustic, thinking she would tire of it.. nope. She is now on her 3rd guitar (electric) and she can play so well. Church music, as well as music we hear on the radio everyday. You just never know where their talent is going to be hidden. You daughter may be an aspiring photographer.. who knows.

  2. How cute! We will never see snow like that in this part of the country (Louisiana). My kids are still very young, but I can tell already that both of them are going to have huge imaginations. Especially my daughter :)

  4. Awwwww tell her she did a GREAT job on the pics !! I agree about letting them be creative and encouraging it. Just think if our parents, grandparents and Great Grandparents hadn't passed down all these wonderful old hand crafts like rug hooking, sewing and such. What a dull world it would be.
